The Go programming language from Google aka “Golang” (https://golang.org/) has become well-known for its power and portability in the containerization and devops world. The open source framework Gobot (http://gobot.io) is written in the Go programming language, and brings this same power to IoT development, with support for many different hardware and software platforms.

This practical talk will show how high-performance IoT and robotics solutions can be built using Go, including a live demo assembling and demonstrating a complete end to end solution… with drones!
